There is something incredibly satisfying about watching raw timber transform into a functional piece of art. In the workshop this week, we’ve been selecting premium cuts of Walnut, Maple, and Padauk to create our latest batch of custom cutting boards.
Getting those crisp, tight lines down requires absolute precision during the layout and gluing process. After a pass through the drum sander to get everything perfectly flat, the real magic happens when the food-safe oil finish hits the timber—the natural grain of the Walnut and the vibrant pop of the Padauk completely come alive.
